We are an international horse charity that strives to improve the lives of horses, ponies, donkeys and mules in the UK and throughout the world. We support the horse-human partnership in all its guises, using care, research, education and influence.

Story

This year I am challenging myself to read 100 books in a year- so many people get their bodies fit for charity- well this is my mental marathon.

For more on the challenge itself visit my blog:

I don't have a sob story, but I do have two reasons why you should support this cause:

1. In the UK many animals, including horses, are mistreated. However, horses require much more care than a stray dog taken to the pound-World horse Welfare, with our support can rescue and rehabilitate these glorious creatures.

2. Horses are still used as transport for people and goods the world over. Sadly, there is very little education in third world countries about the proper way to care for these animals so they often die young, starving and with a host of problems that could be prevented with a little education- education that World Horse Welfare

I first rode a horse on my first birthday and like so many people have learnt to respect and love these beautiful creatures- please help me improve their lives throughout the world.

Please give generously

Thank you.
