Well we did it, the Divisional team, with various helpers, have crossed the country from Coast to Coast by bike. On a perfect weekend of weather, fun and great emotion we carried the "Bear Baton" from Whitehaven to South Shields covering 157 miles. A valiant effort by all involved!
More events are planned and happening all over the North Division as we challenge ourselves to raise a massive £100,000 for Breat Cancer Care. We've raised over £79,000 to date colleagues across the Division doing their bit with massive spirit. The "Bear baton" is now journeying from Area to Area on the East coast as she heads towards her final destination in April 2010.
