The Prince's Trust - Borneo Summit to Sea Challenge · 17 October 2009 ·

The King’s Trust supports 11 to 30 year-olds who are unemployed or struggling at school to get their lives on track. Many of the young people we support are in or leaving care, have been in trouble with the law, or they are facing challenges such as homelessness or mental health issues.

Story

Hi All,

I have set up this page as part of my fundraising efforts to raise £2,500 in support of The Prince’s Trust charity. This is a fantastic charity providing practical training and financial support to disadvantaged young people, helping them move into training or work and improve their lives.

This October, I will be participating in The Prince’s Trust's Borneo Challenge in Malaysia as a team of four. This will involve climbing Mount Kinabalu, South East Asia’s highest peak at 4050m, and then hiking, cycling and rafting from the peak to the sea through the jungle in a race against other teams. For more details about the Challenge and the team, please visit us on www.teamorangutans.co.uk.

Any donation is much appreciated as every penny makes a difference! Donating through justgiving.co.uk is easy, secure and will allow The Prince's Trust to reclaim GiftAid on your donation at no extra cost to you. So please, support me now by donating below.

Many thanks!

PS: I have pledged to cover the cost of my participation in this event myself, so any contribution you make will go directly towards the charitable causes of The Prince's Trust to make a difference to the young people.
