Story

Hi Everyone,

So it's got to the stage where Marathon's are just not enough torture for me anymore, so I have decided to run the London Marathon in FULL AMERICAN FOOTBALL KIT!  That's right, a full 26.2 mile run through the glorious streets of London in shoulder pads, leg sets and helmet, as well as my Team shirt of course!  I am running in aid of St. John Bosco Boy's Camp, a camp that gives children from less fortunate backgrounds the chance to have an amazing week of sporting activities, games and other unusual events that they would not necessarily be able to access.  The American football kit is my choice of attire for 3 reasons: 1 that it was one of the sports introduced to the boys last Summer (thanks to Bro. Phil!), 2 I'm hoping to raise awareness of the sport, if only to a few people and 3...well it's a massive challenge!!

On a serious note, this really is an amazing charity that is run entirely by volunteers, of whom I am proud to say I'm one, as part of the St. Vincent De Paul Society and any donation that you make could lead to more young children being able to have a truly experience they would never ordinarily have the oppurtunity to have purely because they have been born into difficult circumstances.  So please dig deep, it is a truly great cause!

Much love,

Oscar
