Boston Tandem 2 PCR · 25 February 2009

Every 5 minutes, someone dies from heart diseases in the UK. We need to tackle this problem head on, and we need to start today. Your donations will fund lifesaving medical research to find new treatments and cures. We need your help, until there are no more deaths from heart diseases.

Story

Thanks for visiting our fundraising page.

We are planning to cycle two tandems 1000 miles, from our office in Hemel Hempstead to Barcelona for the start of Euro PCR 2009 to raise money for Heart Research UK.

The 10 of us will be cycling in two teams, on tandem called TETra and PETra. We are planning on riding onto our stand in the main hall on Tuesday when the conference opens.

Donating through Justgiving is quick, easy and totally secure. It’s also the most efficient way to sponsor us: Heart Research gets your money faster and, if you’re a taxpayer, Justgiving makes sure 25% in Gift Aid, plus a 3% supplement, are added to your donation.

"On behalf of everyone at Heart Research I would like to say thank you to Boston Scientific for choosing to fundraise for us on their tandem cycle ride to Barcelona in May. This event will raise both funds for and awareness of our pioneering work into the treatment, diagnosis and prevention of heart disease. We would also like to thank Boston Scientific for paying all the running costs of this event, so that every penny raised will go directly to our cause.
