Story
I am Filip Gierlinski, a Surrey photographer and I have decided to raise money for the DEC funds to help after the Nepal Earthquake.
I was very sad to see and hear the stories of the devastation in Nepal since the Earthquake in April. With the latest death toll reported to be over 8,000 people, hundreds more injured and thousands left without homes and shelter, I want to do anything I can to help.
And so I have decided to raise money towards the relief fund through my idea of “Boxing Everest”. Local landmark Box Hill, with a height of 224m, fits into the magnificent Mt Everest, at 8848m, a total of 39.5 times.
You can join me. Either by walking with me on the hill, giving me a wave or handing me a beer! But most importantly by donating anything you can, every penny counts and everything raised will go direct to helping families and communities rebuild their lives in Nepal. Hopefully together we can raise enough to make a difference.
Thanks for your support!!
