Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page where we're trying to raise as much money as possible for such a great cause. In the final week of July and the first week of August the three of us are cycling from Lands End to John O'Groats in aid of the Cancer Research charity. We will be supported by friends and family along the way in a support vehicle that has been kindly donated to us, the trip will see us average around 100 miles a day for the 9 days we plan to take in cycling the length of Britain.

The reason for the charity is simple, we have all, at some stage of our lives been affected by the terrible disease that is cancer. Although we will not raise an amount substantial enough to 'find' the cure or even close to the amounts the modern day celebrity would raise for such a venture what we do raise will go into the 'pot' to help research, treat and possibly even prevent cancer in the future thus helping those who suffer either directly or indirectly from the disease.

 

Here is what we face each day:

 

·         Day 1: Lands End – Okehampton (104 miles)

 

·         Day 2: Okehampton – Bristol (95 miles)

 

·         Day 3: Bristol – Ludlow (82 miles)

 

·         Day 4: Ludlow – Middlewich (72 miles)

 

·         Day 5: Middlewich – Ambleside (118 miles)

 

·         Day 6: Ambleside – Hawick (95 miles)

 

·         Day 7: Hawick – Perth (104 miles)

 

·         Day 8: Perth – Inverness (111 miles)

 

·         Day 9: Inverness – JOG (110 miles)
