Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.

We are running in memory of our unborn baby, and to raise money for The Miscarriage Association.

Before this happened to us, I didn't know of many people who this had happened to, and since sharing our news, many many friends and friends of friends have been in touch to share their story and offer support. Miscarriage affects so many women, although somehow it becomes a secret that no-one talks about.  Its important that we talk openly about our experiences and that the NHS offers more information to new mums and dads to be about what could happen in the early (and sadly sometimes not so early) stages of pregnancy.

The Miscarriage Association provides much needed support to people who are suffering. It was founded in 1982 by a group of people who had experienced miscarriage and they continue to offer support and information to anyone affected by the loss of a baby in pregnancy, to raise awareness and to promote good practice in medical care.
