I am competing in a number events this year, and would be grateful if you were able to offer any kind of donation or sponsorship, which will go to supporting the Tea Leaf Trust.
The Events:
Sunday April 26: SPW Hyde Park triathlon
Monday May 25: BUPA London 10,000 Sunday
31 May: Chilterns Gran Fondo Cyclosportive.
Saturday 6 June: Blenheim Triathlon.
Saturday 1 August: London Triathlon (co-racing with Mark Pollock)
Sunday 20 September: Berlin Marathon
One of my nominated charities for 2009 is the Tea Leaf Trust. I visited the charity earlier in the year and was very impressed with its achievements to date and its ongoing objectives - The Tea Leaf Trust is a charitable foundation which supports disadvantaged tea workers and poor rural farmers in the island's central plantation area with education and amenities. You can find out more about it at www.tealeaftrust.com. If would like to sponsor me at 10p per kilometre, the total distance covered should come to 329.85km (not including training miles), i.e about £33 quid. Times are hard, but please be as generous as you feel you can be. The total sum raised on this page will go directly to the Tea Leaf Trust.
