Well the big fight is over!!

 It was an incredible night, and a privilege to fight at York Hall in the footsteps of so many famous boxers. The atmosphere was amazing, the support I received was incredible.

Unfortunately I didn't win but it was close. One round each and my opponent won it in the last round. I was exhausted but elated at the end. It was an incredible experience to go through, well worth all the training, sweat and bruises!!

I am very proud that the event enabled me to raise a huge amount of money for a wonderful cause and know that it will make such a difference to some amazing children and their families who have a battle to go through every day. Just been down to Demelza House Children's Hospice in Eltham this morning. Thanks to Terri for showing me around, enabling me to see the wonderful work they do for families and their sick children. Makes me even more determined for the fight on the 22nd, and to realise how lucky I am to have healthy children.

As an avid boxing fan, I have decided to don my gloves, adopt the Queensbury rules and put my neck on the block to take part in 'Brawl In The Hall' at York Hall to raise money for o2e.

Ordinary 2 Extraordinary -  is a wonderful charity which aims to make a difference to the lives of seriously and terminally ill children whilst encouraging and supporting all ages to embrace sport and adventure, get out of their comfort zones and live life to the full. o2e supports the following children's charities - Demelza Hospice Care for Children  and Get Kids Going. 

I shall put my youthful good looks on the line (!!) and my gruelling training regime will culminate in a three round bout at the famous York Hall in Bethnal Green as part of 'Brawl In The Hall' on Friday 22 October 2010. 

I would love to raise at least £2000 to help o2e make a difference to these kids and their parents under difficult circumstances and to bring a little extra sunshine into their lives, so please give what you can as every bit helps and will make a difference.
