Having recently been affected by a close family member being diagnosed with Cancer, I have decided to run this event for a very worthwhile Charity called the Macmillan Cancer Support. Ultimately we are all likely  to be affected at one point in time by Cancer and as such I feel this organisation has global appeal.

I will be undertaking an ultra-marathon through what has been described as "The Hottest Place on Earth" - The Sahara Desert. The event takes place over 7 days and the total distance will be 250k's - approximately 6 marathons in total. In addition to the distance i will be carrying all my own kit for the week, such as food and sleeping equipment.

All costs associated by undertaking the event have been borne by myself and as such all donations will be given in whole to the Macmillan Cancer Support.
