I did it!!
On September 20th I successfully completed the Anglesey Marathon in 3hrs 58 minutes 19 seconds, coming 94th out of a field of 322 over a very hilly course, not bad for my first marathon!
Thanks to all who have sponsored me, as you can see I've far exceeded my target now, so cheers, you're all magnificent!!
I'm running for the RNIB. For those of you who remember my Stepdad, Gordon, you'll know that he was registered blind for about the last 15 years of his life. The RNIB do a great job of supporting the visually impaired, and I think it would be just peachy if I could give them £500!
Donating through Justgiving is quick, easy and totally secure. It’s also the most efficient way to sponsor me: RNIB gets your money faster and, if you’re a UK taxpayer, Justgiving makes sure 25% in Gift Aid, plus a 3% supplement, are added to your donation.
