We give children living in poverty support to break their cycle of poverty

Story

You are sponsoring Luc Jolly, James Davies and Marc Gross to take part in the 2009 Mongol Rally which involves driving from Goodwood in Sussex to the capital of Mongolia, Ulaanbaatar, in a wonderfully unsuitable little car. The vehicle of choice is a 10-year-old 1.2 litre Fiat Bravo, modified for use in the rugged and remote landscapes of Eastern Russia, Kazakhstan and Mongolia in absolutely no way whatsover.

We have decided to support two of the official charities of the 2009 Mongol Rally; CNCF (Christina Noble Children's Foundation) who have a variety of projects in Mongolia helping children who've been dealt a pretty rough hand in life and Mercy Corps, who support rural communities in Mongolia to have an independent and sustainable life. The page for Mercy Corps donations can be found via the following link:

Some say we'd be lucky to reach Dover. I say they may be right, but we'll give it a damn good shot anyway!

For more information about the event and the charities please visit:

We also have a Facebook page where we plan to upload photos, news and anything else we see fit:

Donating through Justgiving is quick, easy and totally secure. It’s also the most efficient way to sponsor me: Adventures For Development gets your money faster and, if you’re a taxpayer, Justgiving makes sure 25% in Gift Aid, plus a 3% supplement, are added to your donation.

So please sponsor us now!
