Welcome, and thank you for visiting the JustGiving page for the Breast Centre, Cardiff and Vale.
This brand new, purpose-built centre is scheduled to open in 2010 at Llandough Hospital in Cardiff, and will serve patients from the whole of Wales and the surrounding areas.The aim of the appeal is to raise funds to improve the existing service, above and beyond what can be provided by relying on NHS funding alone. The money raised will not replace Government funding; instead, it will be used to enhance the service by providing additonal services - things like 3D mammography, Liposuction and fat transfer equipment, staff training, to name just a few.
The appeal hopes to raise the sum of £1million over the next five years. Every donation, however large or small, will contribute towards our target of providing the very best in Breast care, here in Wales.
