Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page. My name is Brenda McCauley and my son, George, lost his life to ALD in 2000 aged 8. ALD is one of the cruellest and devastating disorders and it is in memory of George that I decided to try and raise some money for ALD Life which supports families going through the horrors of this disorder.

I go to my local gym on a daily basis and do a light routine due to my own health issues, and was recently set a series of challenges which, for me, were rather difficult. I managed to complete all 15 of these which involved doing the treadmill, rowing machine, cycling and the cross trainer over a combined distance of 15 km as well as weight training and toning exercises. It was exhausting and I am very proud of myself for completing the challenge - doing it for George kept me going through the toughest bits.

Although it's usual to request sponsorship for things before you do them, it never occurred to me at the time, so now I am asking kindly if you might give a little to help and recognise my efforts.
