Story

<p>Brendan Powell, 51, won the National in 1988 on Rhyme&rsquo;n&rsquo;Reason surviving perhaps the most monumental blunder ever at Bechers Brook on the first circuit where he was left last in the field!&nbsp; In the same year he rode the great Pegwell Bay to win the Massey-Ferguson Gold Cup.&nbsp; During his 17 year career Brendan rode 684 winners.&nbsp; From 2000 he has been training both flat and National Hunt horses and is now based in Upper Lambourn.<br><br>Thanks for supporting Brendan.<br><br>Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure.
