Community Hospice provides free end of life care to anyone living with a terminal illness in Greenwich and Bexley, supporting around 3,000 people each year. Our goal is to help everyone we care for to approach death in the way that suits their values, beliefs and lifestyle.

Story

Hello!

This is the webpage for sponsoring my attempt at walking from Lands End to John 'O Groats (LEJOG). It's about 1,200 miles long, which means I'll be walking an average of 15 miles a day for around 90 days while carrying everything I need on my back. If you want to find out more check out my live blog on http://brendanslittlelegs.wordpress.com.

I've chosen
The Greenwich & Bexley Cottage Hospice because I have first hand experience of the amazing work they and other hospices around the country do. Decent palliative care is an important part of a humane society and it doesn't often get the recognition it deserves.

Justgiving is a completely legit and secure service  - they make sure that the money goes directly to the charity with an extra  25% in Gift Aid if you are a UK tax payer.

So please sponsor me now!
