Well, what do you know. I completed the half-marathon. My finish time was 1 hour, 49 minutes and 55 seconds and I came 1447th out of 4,500 runners!
The night before the run, three of my friends bet I would finish it at 2 hours 10 minutes, 2 hours 20 minutes or 2 hours 30 minutes (thanks Lionel!). Needless to say, I won the bet. Friends, family and colleagues have been extremely generous I have increased & ex ceeded my fundraising target of £1200, but if you stil wish to sponsor me, please do so. The RCVS Trust is a small but ambitious charity and desperately needs to raise more money to continue its important work. The funds I raise will be put towards the Trust's educational and animal welfare programmes in the UK and overseas.
