My story

 

All,

I, along with three friends, have signed up to complete the Snowdon Charity Challenge.

This herculean challenge comprises the following four arduous sections:

- 20 mile cycle (Llanberis -Rhyd Dhu)

- Climb up Mount Snowdon

- 20 mile cycle (Rhyd Dhu- Llanberis)

- 2.5 mile kayak (Llyn Padarn)

As you can imgine the roads around Snowdonia lack a certain flatness.  For the purists who really like to understand how gruelling a task is before sponsoring, the route and elevation profiles are included in the attached links.

The challenge should take between six and ten hours dependent on a number of factors (aside from fitness) including punctures, fog and severe chafing, so please do take pity and give generously.
