We fund long-term, sustainable research to find a cure for brain tumours

Story

Our friend and colleague Matt Guest sadly passed away this year due to a brain tumour. He was an avid Aston Villa fan and also a keen cyclist, so we would like to raise £5000 for a Brain Tumour Research charity in his memory. We will cycle 160 miles along the Grand Union Canal, from London to Birmingham in the first weekend of our school summer holidays.

The cyclists are:

Ade Coultas-Pitman, Emma Lauder, Emma Budge, Emma Taylor, Abi Purkis, Cecilia Audouin, Vicki Blackburn, Rachel Thompson, Ollie Audouin, Jess Davies, Chris MacInnes and Sophie Mckeown.

Brain tumours kill more children and adults under the age of 40 than any other cancer. Just 1% of the national spend on cancer research has been allocated to this disease. We are a leading voice calling for support and action for research into what is called the last battleground against cancer.
