The King’s Trust supports 11 to 30 year-olds who are unemployed or struggling at school to get their lives on track. Many of the young people we support are in or leaving care, have been in trouble with the law, or they are facing challenges such as homelessness or mental health issues.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

As you may or may not be aware, this is a big thing for me particularly as I’m not an experienced cyclist having only decided to buy a bicycle last year and not having cycled anywhere close to 45 miles before. Since buying my bicycle, I’ve been on it about 8-10 times perhaps in the last year and haven’t been on it for a few months so I don’t expect this will be easy, nor do I expect to be walking far on the Monday morning after.

I’m doing it for several reasons:

- To raise money for The Prince's Trust, this isn't something I've done before and liked the idea of supporting the company team to reach our fundraising target

- The challenge, I do a lot of hiking in my spare time and have pushed myself into walking up to 30-35 miles at a time. Now to do the same with cycling

Finally, I'm just excited to be part of the company team cycling together and supporting each other to the end.
