Hi everyone,  this year we aim to do three events the first being a fancy dress family fundraiser at leigh east club at leigh's sports village, this will be a ticket event and tickets will cost £3.00 each for adults, kids are free it is limited to 120 so if your reading this and would like to come my email is on this page ask me for tickets. This is a really popular one and we raise a good amount with games for kids and adults and raffles from donated prizes we get from anyone who wishes to donate them to us HINT HINT prizes for best fancy dress kids and adults too, theres a disco and karaoke this will be on the 23.7.10.

The second event is a 14 mile canoe paddle and cliff jump on lake ullswater in the lake district alot more energetic but never the less just as popular. This is a sponsored event. so anyone wishing to sponsor the canoe group as a whole please do so here on my justgiving page cheers. Hopefully i'll be taking 38 paddlers this year. ( i am actually looking for a coach for this one to get the paddlers up there about a 30 seater?? if anyone can help me out with this my email is bripeebs@aol.com) this will take place on the 28.8.10....GOODLUCK  TO ALL MY VICTIMS ON THIS ONE HA HA. Anyone wishing to make their own way to the lake to see us off and more importantly to cheer us back in are totally welcome i'll post the launch location once i know here. There is the ullswater steamer that powers past us at various times through the day why not make a day of it and see how we do on the water too.

The last but not least will be,(venue to be decided ..i'll post it here when i know) this was originally a get together for all the paddlers to chill with all their new found friends they made the day before on the paddle and share ibupropen tablets, ralgex spray and muscle rubs :) jk..... hence this is held on the 29.8.10. On this day we all pile in the pub mid afternoon we have some raffles theres a disco /karaoke and food and it goes on till kicking out time. everyones welcome.
