I'm trying to raise funds for this wonderful Charity who help people affected by this terrible condition. One of my best friend's Fathers whom I have known most of my life and I not only respect as a great family man but I also count as a good friend and have always looked up to, was last year diagnosed with MND. He is coping with this amazingly and I know the help of the local MNDA have been a great support for him and his family.

Laurie lives on the Isle of Wight so it would be great if I can raise some funds to help the local branch keep up their good work on the Island.

The Isle of Wight Branch of the Motor Neurone Disease Association aims to serve the needs of all those on the Island who are affected by Motor Neurone Disease (MND). This includes people with MND, their carers, family and friends.

MND is an incurable condition that affects the muscles of the body over a period of time. It can make most things we do everyday and take for granted almost impossible. It can affect the ability to move, walk, talk and swallow; yet the mind and senses are rarely affected.
