This year Philip and Caroline again successfully completed the Great Manchester 10k Run on Sunday 17th May 2009 both registering personal best times. As a result of their efforts they have already raised over £1,000 towards our target.

On Saturday 25 July 2009 the following friends and family completed a 13 mile walk along Hadrian's Wall between Steel Rigg and Chollerford.

Philip and Caroline, John and Aileen Dunlop, David Clark, Robin Bowden, Marlyn Tripp, Philippa Anderson, Jenny Rarity, Nia Humphreys, Dylan Humphreys, Moira Quinn, Joe Quinn, Keith and Christeen Sievwright, Andrew, Tracy, Sian, Nikki and Jack Sievwright, John Wright, Neil and Suzanne Astill, Amy Kirk, Steve Tipping, Julie Curtis, Craig and Sarah Beardwood. Gill Wright, Clare Doyle with Cameron and Caitlyn also walked a good stretch of the wall.
