The Dorset and Somerset Air Ambulance was launched at Sherborne Castle in March 2000, and has already flown over 3850 missions, it is based at Henstridge Airfield which is located on the border of Somerset and Dorset. It is funded largely by voluntary donations.

My story

Brian was tragically killed in an air accident on Thursday 9 October 2008. Flying was one of his great passions in life and he shared his base at Henstridge airfield with the Dorset & Somerset Air Ambulance. We both admired and respected the work that they do.
