THANK YOU SO MUCH!!

Well, the race is over and done with now - despite the less than perfect weather it was great fun.  However, over and above all that is the wonderful generosity you have shown in helping raise so much money to support the work that Guildford YMCA does with disadvantaged young people.  I, and Guildford YMCA, are so grateful for this and it is a really significant contribution to what we are trying to do.

For the record, I just about finished it in one piece, although it was a bit of an embarrassing hobble back to the car. My time was 1h 23m 38s and my finishing position has mysteriously improved from that initially given to 2,733rd.  19,500 people entered the race.

£10  Might become a year's worth of support, friendship and advice for a young person at our Plantation cafe.

£15  Could provide time and space to talk through problems and issues with an hour of professional counselling.

£50  Might mean guidance, support and lasting change for a young person with 3 months one to one mentoring.

£75  Could help young people learn a new skill, be inspired or share experiences with a workshop at our Plantation cafe.

£250  Could give a trainee on our landscape gardening social enterprise scheme help and encouragement through 'key-work' sessions for 3 months.
