This is my second fundraising event that does not include windsurfing, so I am really looking forward to the ride, especially as all the money raised will be going to 4 great charities including children’s charities.
I will be doing the full 60 mile London toHove ride (I like to think of it as 96.5km), if you can spare the time, why not join me and help raise some much needed funds and we can all have a great day out. I was so impressed with the idea of the Inland Revenue paying up another 28% of the money I raise in sponsorship, I have started the ball rolling with my own donation of £40 and that means Gordon Brown will be adding another £11.28, (we need his money more than the Banks)
Every year around 700,000 babies are born. Most are born healthy. Sadly 1 in 30 will be born with a condition or disability that will affect them for life. With your help, we can change that.
Sparks is a charity dedicated to funding pioneering paediatric research with a single aim: Helping ALL babies to be born healthy and stay healthy.
~ £5 pays for 45 children’s DNA samples to be analysed for a genetic mutation
which can lead to deafness if they are treated with a specific commonly
used antibiotic.
~ £10 pays for the analysis of 90 DNA samples
~ £30 pays for the analysis of 273 DNA samples
