The Genesis appeal carry out research into causes & cures for breast cancer that affects both men & women. The fact it affects men is not so well known and I hope to raise the profile of this among my friends and colleagues. 'Any doubts - check it out'.
Well it is over and I finished it (4hr 29 mins)!
I was slower than I wanted but I wasn't alone as the heat took it's toll on a lot of us. It was the hardest thing I have ever done physically and mentally but it was the support I have received here and at the event that got me through when I was really struggling at 22 miles. Thank you all!
Roll on the day when I can walk down stairs comfortably again.
