Terrence Higgins Trust was one of the first charities to be set up in response to the HIV epidemic and has been at the forefront of the fight against HIV, and improving the nation's sexual health, ever since. THT offers services to people infected, or affected, by HIV and ill sexual health. We support over 85,000 people through counselling, advocacy, health education, one hour HIV testing and buddying. Over vision is a world where people with HIV live healthy lives free from prejudice and discrimination, and good sexual health is a right and reality for all.

My story

Brian goes from Bristol to Berlin on a one-geared bicycle

Excellent news (for me at least) as I recently arrived in Berlin at 1pm on Saturday 11th April to be greeted by John and Liz with a huge outstreched banner they made for my arrival.

This has all been to try an raise money for the Terrence Higgins Trust. A big thanks to all for donating so far!

To make it a little harder and avoid it seeming like a nice little holiday, I made the trip on a fixed gear, single-speed bike in one week.

It worked out as 840 miles in 8 days of riding!

Please continue to support the Terrence Higgins Trust with a donation. The Terrence Higgins Trust does amazing work supporting people with HIV and like a lot of charities is feeling the pinch!

If you can spare a bit of cash in recognition of my efforts it will make it all seem more worthwhile, especially the day I rode for 40 arrow straight miles across German farm land into a headwind!
