We support people to help rebuild lives after stroke.

Story

Thank you for visiting my fundraising page. Please dig deep and sponsor me online.

I have chosen to support the Stroke Association due to the suffering of my father after experiencing a stroke. He was a proud man and the disabilities he suffered because of the stroke robbed him of his dignity.  He found this difficult to live with and he died before his time.  Research is improving the care that can help limit the damage caused by strokes, which is why I am running the London Marathon to help stroke survivors

Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to sponsor me: The Stroke Association will receive your money faster and, if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you.

I am also running in support of the Down Syndrome Educational Trust and the Elton John Aids Foundation. Click on the following links to donate to these charities: www.justgiving.com/brianpaddick4downsyndromeeducationaltrust  www.justgiving.com/brianpaddick4eltonjohnaidsfoundation

Many thanks for your support.
