The Hospice aims to bring peace, comfort and dignity to patients and families facing the crisis of serious illness. We offer assessment and skilled clinical care, respite breaks, home support, day care and bereavement support. Care is free of charge and a flexible and individual approach is made.

UPDATE - 27th May

We finally ran the race yesterday, and despite the constant rain we all got respectable times. Brian & Chris ran it in under 59 minutes, and Paul ran it in 1 hour 7 minutes (see us triumphantly wearing our medals to the left...)

Thanks so much to everyone who has sponsored us so far. If you'd still like to sponsor us this page is still open for a few weeks, so please go ahead! It really means a lot to us to raise as much money as we can for the hospice, after they took such good care of Brian & Paul's dad last year. Thanks again!

On Monday 26th May, Brian, Paul and Chris will be running the Bupa London 10k to raise money for the Hospice of St Francis in Berkhamsted. This particular charity does mean a lot to us. The staff and volunteers at the Hospice truly are amazing, and offer great support to patients and families. However, at the moment they are only able to accommodate 10 patients, and need much more funding to open the remaining 4 beds to more patients. Please dig deep and sponsor us to raise money for this very special place.

Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to sponsor me: Hospice Of St Francis will receive your money faster and, if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you.
