I am employed for as a Business Development Manager for Musgrave Retail Partners NI.  As part of their corporate responsibility they have nominated Action Cancer as their chosen charity supporting the ‘Big Bus’.  Action Cancer's dedicated team of staff and volunteers work across the whole of Northern Ireland helping to save lives and support people affected by cancer. In a bid to raise funds for Action Cancer I hope to complete the following FOUR events in 2010.

EVENT 1: BELFAST MARATHON 2010

The Belfast Marathon is a 26.4 mile marathon run every year in Belfast, Northern Ireland. The marathon is run on May Day of each year and has been held for 29 years (1982 to 2010). In 2010 there were over 18,000 race participants that took part. This event has already been completed and on 3rd May 2010 I completed the marathon in a time of just over 4 hours 30 minutes (race number 3054).

EVENT 2: MARACYCLE 2010

The maracycle is a 2-day 200-mile cycling extravaganza, between the two capital cities of Belfast and Dublin which this year will take place on the weekend of 26-27 June 2010. This was completed over the 2 days and times can be verified by logging into maracycle website (my number was 65). Saturday took 10:16 hours and Sunday 10:35 hours. It was a fantastic experience and one which I would recommend as next year i believe the organizers are actually going to try to avoid the famous Naul mountain stage which if you are speaking to anyone else who completed the maracycle will remember with little fondness but overall an excellent experience.

EVENT 3: DUBLIN MARATHON 2010

Held each year since 1980, the 26.4 mile marathon  takes place in October 2010 boasting 11,000 race participants annually. Completed Dublin Marathon Chip Time 4.29 Finish Time 4.33 a beautiful day in Dublin with record entries for the 31st Dublin Marathon. Race Number 15280

EVENT 4: 12,000 FEET SKYDIVE IN COUNTY DERRY

I will attempt a 12,000ft skydive in in County Derry/Londonderry before December 2010.
