About the charity : The Place2Be The Place2Be
Sometimes children bring a lot more to school than just home work and dinner money. The Place2Be helps children in primary schools who are sad, angry, worried or lonely to gain confidence, manage their worries and be themselves. The Place2Be is currently available in 113 primary schools, supporting 35,000 children. Parental divorce, deprivation, abandonment, long-term family illness, bereavement, domestic violence and abuse: These are some of the difficulties The Place2Be helps children cope with. With your help, we can reach out to 100,000 children by 2010. www.theplace2be.org.uk
