Hello!
And thank you for visiting the latest fundraising page of the Veronica Claxton memorial fund, a fund set up after the death of my mother Veronica from cancer aged 50 in 2008. To date we have managed to donate over £300,000 to various worthy causes. The last few years have seen us dedicate the majority of our fundraising to CLIC Sargent who support young people in the UK suffering with cancer. Our £250,000 challenge for them can be viewed at www.justgiving.com/teams/target250k
In early May we are gathering together once again to walk all the bridges in London. After a great mass attended event in 2016 we are hoping this years can be just as successful. Starting out down at Richmond bridge and weaving our way across 21 bridges and 23 miles before finishing up on Tower bridge. A real gruelling challenge for everyone involved.
Please get behind your family and friends here on the page by supporting young people living with cancer in the UK and giving them the extra incentive to attend and finish the job on May 11th.
Thank you as always for your wonderful support. Without you these events just aren’t possible.
