Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.

On Christmas Day 2013 our dear friend Rosalind Ellis lost her battle against cancer.  To the doctors she was an inigma, to us she was just Ros.  At a time in her life when she should have been growing older disgracefully and doing all the things she enjoyed she was coming to terms with a terminal illness.

Before she died Claire Bennison and I promised her we would walk in her memory and raise much needed funds for Macmillan Cancer Support.

On the 13th September 2014 Claire and I will walk 100 km; our journey starts in Putney and ends in Henley - we will walk all day and night until we reach our final destination.

So if you see two rather hot, pink elephants walking the Thames Pathway Challenge that will be us.  And if you believe in the work of Macmillan please, please donate - no amount is too little.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails.
