BRIDLELESS NOT BRAINLESS ARE THE TEAM THAT DO IT IN PINK.
This team chase season we are doing it for the Breast Cancer Campain. Bridleless not Brainless have competed for two seasons in team chasing and have won the respect and admiration of many by being successfull in this hair-raising sport without the use of conventional bridles - the horses wear ONLY headcollars.
Last autumn a new team member rode with them. She was a 39 nine year old, mother of two who had NEVER competed in any horse competition in her life. She had the best day of her life and rightfully earned tremendous praise for her bravery.
This Spring, this ultra-brave lady was met with an even bigger challenge - she was diagnosed with Breast cancer. With that same positive attitude that she attacked the hedges she has faced all the challenges that the illness presents.
Hopefully. now on the road to recovery, she copes with the debilitating effects of the chemo, and is determied to compete this autumn, and hopefully raise some money to help others who find themselves in her position.
