The Brighton Panthers are a university football team that all met through the University of Brighton. We are trying to raise £10,000 for our charity 'Right to Play Uk'. Right to Play UK use specially designed sport games to improve the lifes of people affected by war, disease and poverty. These games amongst other vaccination schemes help to teach important values and lessons that help countless numbers of people.

We as a team are running the half marathon on October the 12th 2008. Their 25 and more members of the team running the marathon. This will be the first of many fund raising events to help reach our target.

We are also organising a world football tour for charity. Our tour will start in Africa in the summer of 2009. We plan on visiting Ghana, Kenya and South Africa among other places.

Whilst out there we will be carrying out volunteer work, running educational workshops, and running football coaching workshops. We will also hold a series of 'festival days' which will involve the Brighton Panthers playing local sides in friendly football matches in front of the whole community.
