It's that time of year again and im getting ready for my next trip which is a 10 day trip to geneva via paris on my bicycle and its going to be in the region of 1100 miles as when i get to geneva i will be cycling back to brighton as well.I will be paying all my own costs so what you give is what will be going to the sussex beacon. Thanks for your support on my previous journeys i was very moved by your support.below is an outline of what im going to be doing on this trip and to give you an idea its just slightly over doing the london to brighton bike ride twice a day for 10 days.I will be staying in a very small specialised tent and sleeping bag for all nights except one and eating whatever i can boil up on the way to geneva on my tiny gas burner.

I have massive support from steve at the marine tavern on previous trips and many thanks to him.You can sponsor me online or pop into the marine tavern, broad street brighton to sponsor me over the bar.

many thanks

i will depart the marine tavern saturday12th june at 19.30 and cycle to newhaven to take overnight ferry to dieppe and will arive 0330 then start cycling down to paris then cut through the middle and out the other side to melun.this is hardest day at about 145 miles which is serious work.the next few days i will go to semur en auxois ,lons le saunier then climb 4200 feet over the jura mountains and down into geneva and probably have a decent meal that night. The following morning its up and out on the road to start the journey back to dieppe and into brighton and should arrive newhaven harbour 2100 wednesday 23rd june and get back to marine tavern approx 2230 and have a little drink to celebrate. To give you an idea of the distance its about the same as doing the london to brighton bike ride twice a day for 10 days.I have allowed a day off in the middle of this trip as its a big journey.
