Between June 13th and June 18th I'm going to be walking the length of Hadrian's Wall from South Shields in the east to Bowness-on-Solway in the west - a total of 94 miles!

I'm raising money to support SIFT's fantastic medical work in Nicaragua.  Every week Dr Sandra and her team of nurses bring everyday healthcare to rural communities on the volcanic island of Ometepe, in Lake Nicaragua.  It's the kind of health service that we take for granted here in the UK, and that really makes a difference to the lives of the poor.  You can have a look at the photos in the gallery below to see Dr Sandra and her team in action.

I'm hoping to raise at least £1,500 through this challenge, which will fund SIFT's medical work for about three weeks and provide free medicines for those who come to our clinics.
