Story
The 5th of May 2008 will see Bristol’s first ever 10k race. For 8 Computershare employees participating in the event this will also be our first attempt at a long distance race. Once all the hard work has been done we hope, with your help, to raise funds in support of the Sunrise Children’s Village in Cambodia!
Supporting our cause is easy and you are able to donate directly through this site. This is totally secure and if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you! Any money you donate will be received directly by ‘Camkids’: The Cambodian Children’s Charity for the development and relief of poor children in Cambodia. The funds donated will be passed directly to the Sunrise Children’s Village which Computershare, through Change a Life, is building in Cambodia.
So please sponsor us now!
Thank you very much for all your support.

Change a Life is a Computershare initiative designed to provide a sustainable future for people living in poverty. Change a Life has partnered with the Cambodian Children’s Charity (CamKids) in support of the Sunrise Children’s Village - one of its newest projects.
Thirty years of war, foreign occupation, genocide and civil war in Cambodia have left many children orphaned and in danger of being trafficked as prostitutes, being forced into illegal child labour or a life on the streets, often involved in crime and drugs.
The key goal of CamKids is to offer a full and complete life for each child, not just providing food and shelter but also vital skills which will equip them for life and help them escape the cycle of poverty.
