Little Havens provides specialist care and support for babies, children and young people living with complex or incurable conditions from Essex. Our care includes everyone to make sure the right support is there, where and when they need it. This care is provided absolutely free of charge

Havens Hospices incorporating Little Havens and Fair Havens is a truly wonderful charity offering hospice care for people in Essex and the surrounding areas - please visit their website if you get the time:

Little Havens Children's Hospice cares for children with life limiting illnesses and has cared for over 1,000 children, plus giving vital support to their families.

Fair Havens Hospice provides Hospice support for adults over the age of 19 years, dedicated to caring for adults that have an illness that will shorten their life.

The Challenge - September 9th - 12th 2015

The challenge is to kayak from Bristol Harbour to Greenwich, starting at the SS Great Britain travelling along the River Avon, the Kennett and Avon Canal, the River Kennett and finally the River Thames passing under Tower Bridger to Greenwich, finishing at The Cutty Sark. A total of 200 miles in four days or less!

200 miles, 4 rivers / canals, 151 locks, 10 dedicated team mates and 1 amazing charity. The team will use twin kayaks and once we get to Greenwich after four gruelling days on the water, will lift the kayaks out of the water at Greenwich Pier - the Finish!!!
