Sustrans is the charity making it easier for people to walk and cycle. We connect people and places, create liveable neighbourhoods, transform the school run and deliver a happier, healthier commute. Join us on our journey.

Story

Over a year has past since my last fund raising jaunt so you could say this is over due. This time I'll be cycling from Bristol to London as part of the Bristol Blue Wave. A group of about 50 riders will set off from Bristol on Thursday 3rd December, to be joined by more in Swindon. Hundreds of other riders from all over the country will be converging on London for The Wave on Saturday 5th December.

The Wave aims to be the UKs biggest climate change march and will take place ahead of the crucial UN climate summit in Copenhagen.

As part of the 150 mile ride, I will be supporting UK sustainable transport charity, Sustrans. So please dig deep and donate now, not least because I will be matching what you donate so you have the opportunity to stitch me up royally.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.
