Stars from Bristol Rugby will be making a tackle with a difference at the end of this season to raise vital funds for charity.
Ten current and former players will be swapping the pitch for the water for their latest challenge - taking on the second longest fjord in the world. Over five grueling days, they will kayak 180 kilometers down the Sogenfjord in Norway - from the small town of Gudvangen to the point where the fjord meets the North Sea.
Having climbed the highest mountains in the UK in 24 hours last year for the Three Peaks Challenge, the adventure-seekers were inspired to take on an even tougher test of endurance which gets underway on May 11.
Money raised from their epic journey will be split between PROPS - a charity helping disabled children in the Bristol area and the PRA Benevolent Fund - a charity supporting past and present professional rugby players in times of serious injury, illness or hardship, and in furthering their education.
