BUPA Great Edinburgh Run 2008 · 4 May 2008 ·

Venture Scotland runs a unique progressive outdoor-based personal development programme over 5 months for young people aged 16-30, who face complex and difficult problems daily. We build their confidence and skills to empower each of them to reduce harmful behaviours and make positive choices.

Story

Last year a team of Broughton players took part in the Great Scottish Walk completing the twelve mile walk in three hours and thirty minutes and raised £1000 pounds that was spilt equally between Venture Scotland and Broughton Rugby.

This year we are going trying to go bigger and faster by having over twenty players/associates take part in the Great Edinburgh 10k Run in May and each raising over £100 in sponsorship.  Once again Bibby Financial Services will be matching any money raised on pound for pound basis and the money will be spilt equally between Venture Scotland and Broughton Rugby.

Therefore I would encourage you to use the money you might spend on and extra pint or afternoon coffee and instead support us to continue to offer outdoor opportunities in Scotland and rugby in Edinburgh.

Thanks
