Why support me on this challenge in 2013? Isn't it just another overseas charity, trying to do good for a hopeless cause?

Well that's what I thought until I meet the guys who run Fields of Life. Their strapline runs true for me ...

Helping Others Help Themselves

I really believe we can make a difference here. The team's commitment to humanity and desire to drilling wells and building schools in Uganda is commendable. Their assistance and support on the ground  is genuine and I want to help, if I can.

For so little money, we can support communities, families, individuals to have fresh water and a real education. That outcome alone, is enough for me support these guys and try and make a very small difference. For £2,750 we can drill a well which will give 1000 people clean water for a lifetime. That's £2.75 per person!!

I ask for a minimum donation, whatever you can afford, to help me take the message to Uganda, that we do care and will help. It’s about giving back, thankful for all we have ourselves.

I am also looking for Corporate Sponsors an will be willing to "Fly the Corporate Flag" for any business that wants to sponsor me.

The six day trek is not for the faint hearted. Most of you know that I will battle through and if altitude sickness doesn't get me, I'll fly the flag for you all, when we reach the summit ;-)
