I have walked  the 95 mile 'West Highland Way' from Milngavie, just outside Glasgow, to Fort William on the west coast of Scotland, at the foot of Ben Nevis. Deciding to do the walk came about, as 2 of my brothers-in-law are turning 50 this year and wanted to mark the occasion with a challenge. We completed the walk over a five day period from the 23rd - 27th of May 2010.(apparently 7 days is easier going but Mike assures us we will cope with 5 )

A few years ago I heard about the Yirgaalem Appeal Trust through Terry Casey. Since 2005 the charity has; built a school, given street children a home, fed the 300  school children each day, supported a medical centre, and has helped other schools in the area. 

Every penny that is donated will be put to good use to directly benefit the community of Yirgaalem.
