Jesuit Missions do invaluable work in among other countries South Africa, Zimbabwe and Zambia. The work includes: education projects; rural development; famine relief and homeless projects.  I was born in Zimbabwe and grew up South Africa and therefore I realise the importance of this work in countries very close to my heart.  My view may be slightly bias but I consider these areas of  Africa to have the most wonderful people and places in the world.  The blood and sweat of each mile of the London Marathon is the least that I can do in the hope that it will at least make a small difference to someone's life in Africa.
