It's a fairly simple story: I've been persuaded to get back on a bike to trek across backcountry Africa despite being fat, old and infirm.
The £5000 already raised has gone to Enduro Africa and their four chosen African focused charities will benefit from this.
This sum has been covered by Mrs Froud and the girls to get me out of the house for October, so anything I raise here will go exclusively to Haven House Children's Hospice.
This is a really special place for children from 0 to 19 who have life limiting conditions and are unlikely to reach adulthood.
The hospice helps families by providing a range of services that include day, shortbreak and end of life care, together with therapeutic play in the community.
Families find the support they need when they need it most.
Haven House is mostly reliant on its supporters for its funding so I'd like to raise at least what Enduro Africa has already had.
Please be kind enough to give a little something even though times are tough and it will make a difference for sure.
