My story
Thanks for visiting my fundraising page.
'The draw was made on 29th September and the lucky winner was Chris Ball (Blue Ticket no. 28). Thank you all so much for contributing, we ended 43% up on last year with nearly £5,000 raised at the Amani Homes dinner'.
Free Kilimanjaro Climb for Two Raffle
This is an amazing once in a lifetime raffle prize for Amani Children's Home, all proceeds go to the home direct. The raffle will be drawn on Tuesday 29th September 2009 at the Amani Children's Home Golf Day which is being held at Moor Park Golf Club.
Tickets are only £10 each for a £3000 trip.
The prize has been kindly donated for the second year running by Intrepid Guerba Travel.
The Prize will offer the following itinerary for 2 persons: -
Day 1 - Transfer from Kilimanjaro International airport to Marangu Hotel.
Day 2 - Visit Amani Children's Home. Stay at Marangu Hotel. Meals B,L,D.
Days 3, 4, 5 & 6 - Kilimanjaro. Marangu route. Meals B,L,D.
Day 7 - Return to Marangu Hotel. Overnight hotel. Meals B,L,D.
Day 8 - Transfer toKilimanjaroInternationalAirport. Meals B.
The winners will plan the dates with Intrepid Guerba and join a scheduled group departure. There are weekly departures every Sunday between June 2010 and April 2011. There will not be any local payment payable.
In addition Activenes Consultancy will contribute £500 per passenger towards the costs of flights.
All proceeds will go directly to Amani Children’s Home to provide hope and a future for homeless children in .
Donating through Justgiving is quick, easy and totally secure. Friends of Amani (UK) formerly Guerba for Good gets your money faster and, if you’re a UK taxpayer, Justgiving makes sure 25% in Gift Aid, plus a 3% supplement, are added to your donation.
Raffle ticket numbers will be emailed to you before the draw takes place with ticket colour and serial number. You will receive raffle tickets depending on the donation you make – if you donate £100, we’ll send you ten tickets! We will notify all ticket holders of the winning ticket the day after the draw takes place.
Please ensure that you leave your email address details when making your donation in order that your raffle ticket numbers can be emailed to you.
