Inspire young people to be active, support pre-school activity for children with learning disability and help establish heart screening for young people.

 

2010 is the 14th year of this popular Fun Run.   We want to inspire young people to start running so the Schools' Challenge is the first event.   Details of all the classes together with entry forms can be found at bsrc.org.uk.   All the races take place in Grange Paddocks, Bishop's Stortford and start from the swimming pool on the afternoon of Sunday 26th September.

 

The proceeds from the entry fees together with all the sponsorship money is donated to two local children's charities - this year Grove Cottage and Cardiac Risk in Youth.

 

In 2010, Grove Cottage has increased it's nursery provision for children with learning disability by 50% so really needs your help to develop the potential of these children.

 

CRY has started a programme of cardiac testing for children in Bishop's Stortford schools and needs to support so that the scheme becomes well established.
